ALL STAR GAME

 

The All Star games will be played on June 21 2009 starting at  10 am  with div 3 playing div 4 and div 1 playing div2 at  11am

 

Each team has to pick two players to represent their team, the first player will be your All Star and the second an alternate in case some players can not make it.

 

The executive and referees will be making the final decisions on who is on the team.

 

Picks have to be in by the end of the season to Lloyd.

 

We will be having a BBQ and a Skills Competition with all proceeds going to

Kids Sport  an organization that helps kids get into sports when they have no means to due so.

 

The Skills Competition will consist of a longest throw and a 40 yard dash  and will be held between the two games. All-stars will get one throw or run and anyone is welcome to compete for the cost of $2 dollars.

 

The BBQ will consist of smokies, pop, chips etc.

 

Volunteers, Donations to Kids Sport and any Idea’s for this event are welcome.  

 

Please tell all of your players and families to come out and have some fun!!!

Spring Registration will be held on March 9 2009 at Dogwood Bowling alley from 6pm to 8pm, Please no cash. If you are a new team wanting in the league please contact the allocater from this league.If you are a older team and can not make it you better call Lloyd asap and arrange a time to meet with a roster in hand.

Last year was the first year we put on a Super Bowl Game (touch football). We had a great turn out with the Raiders and the Capitals both from Div 1 participating.
We took the Raiders and the Capitals mixed the teams up and split them into two teams, Team Patriots VS Team Giants, with team patriots winning 45-38. Also was four awards
given out Offensive and Defensive MVPs for both teams. We had the Artificial Turf Field at Mouat booked for two hrs. Charged $5.00 per player. This year I would like to take it to
the next level and get paid ref’s (Hint Lloyd). With this years weather not cooperating with the toilet bowl on Jan 01 it also would be a great day and field to also take that bowl
and give it up as well. With field costs, we are going to cap the players to 13 aside, which is 26 players total, so space is going to fill fast. Actual cost are not confirmed but will be
